President's Day Weekend at the Jersey Shore is shaping up to be a beautiful one! With the temperatures reaching the 50's and 60's, it looks like we are going to enjoy some nice weather, and there is plenty to do! According to Accuweather from ABC... we are looking at
Friday - Chilly - High of 44, Low of 32 and a little cloudy.
Saturday - Warmer - High of 59, Low of 43 and a little cloudy, but sunny.
Sunday - Even warmer - High of 62, Low of 40 and sunny.
Monday - Warm - High of 55, Low of 35 and sunny.
If you are looking for things to do around the shore, there are plenty of events this weekend! From seeing a show in Atlantic City, to taking the family to the Cape May Zoo there is something for everyone. There are also a lot of special events going on this weekend in honor of President's Day. Here are a few of the best ones we saw!
At the Wildwoods Convention Center, the U.S. Futsal Northeast Regional Championship being held from Friday through Sunday. Futsal is a unique type of soccer, using hard floors, unlimited subs, and no walls. Admission is $10 per day or $25 for all 4 days. Children 8 and under are free. Click here for more info!
This is also the weekend for the Polar Bear Plunge in Sea Isle City. There will be different events from Friday through Sunday, including a costume contest, and a 5k run! La Costa is running events all weekend, and there will also be plenty of live music from bands like Split Decision, Blackthorn and Jamison Celtic Band! The plunge happens on Saturday at 2PM. In Cape May this weekend, there are a lot of different things going on! There is a Crafts and Collectibles Exhibition at the Cape May Convention Hall. This is the first crafts and collectibles exhibition this year, and it's looking to be a great show. Some of the other interesting events we saw were a Chocolate Lover's Feast, and a Wine Trail!
